Simpoli is operated by Kristiansen Consult Pty Ltd (ABN 15 674 264 558), an Australian company. This policy describes how we collect, use, and protect personal information when you visit sim-poli.com, sign up for the weekly digest, request a demo, or use the Simpoli product. We comply with the Australian Privacy Principles set out in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).

What we collect

We collect only the information necessary to provide and improve our service:

• Information you give us directly — name, email address, organisation, and role when you sign up for the digest, request a demo, or contact us.
• Information about how you use the site — pages visited, time on page, referring source, approximate location (country/region), and device type. Collected via third-party web analytics and session-recording tools. No keystrokes, form-field contents, or sensitive inputs are recorded.
• Cookies and similar technologies — used by our analytics tooling to recognise repeat visits and aggregate usage patterns. Most browsers let you block or delete cookies through their settings.

How we use it

• To send you the weekly digest you've subscribed to.
• To respond to demo requests and questions.
• To improve the site and the product based on aggregate usage patterns.
• To send you product updates or news that we reasonably believe relate to your subscription. You can opt out at any time.

We do not sell personal information. We do not use it for advertising profiling. We do not share it with third parties for marketing.

Who has access

Personal information is accessible to:

• Kristiansen Consult Pty Ltd directors and staff, on a need-to-know basis.
• A small set of vetted third-party service providers across web analytics, web hosting, email and document infrastructure, product database, and internal CRM and content tooling. We work only with reputable providers bound by their own privacy commitments and applicable data-protection laws, and we share only the information necessary for each provider to do its job.

Where it lives

Most data is hosted in Australia or jurisdictions with comparable privacy protections (United States, European Union). Some of our service providers may transfer data internationally under their own data-transfer frameworks; these frameworks are designed to maintain protections equivalent to Australian law.

How long we keep it

Digest subscribers remain on the list until they unsubscribe or request removal. Demo-request and contact-form records are kept for two years after last contact, then deleted unless a continuing commercial relationship exists. Web analytics data follows the retention settings of the underlying provider (currently 14 months for GA4).

Your rights

Under the Australian Privacy Principles you have the right to:

• Ask what personal information we hold about you.
• Ask us to correct information that is wrong or out of date.
• Ask us to delete your information, subject to any legal obligation we may have to retain it.
• Opt out of further marketing communications.

Security

We take reasonable steps to protect personal information from misuse, interference, loss, unauthorised access, modification, and disclosure. This includes access controls, encryption of data in transit, and least-privilege defaults across our internal tooling. No internet service is perfectly secure; we encourage you to use a strong unique password if you create a Simpoli product account.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be flagged at the top of this page. The "Last updated" date above always reflects the current version.
